Who we are

Founded in late 2014, under the name the Krakens, Colorado Springs Women’s Rugby was formed after several years without a local women’s club. The Krakens played several local tournaments and friendly matches. In the fall of 2015, the players changed the name to the Pikes Peaks as a tribute to the local community.

After nine years as a social club, the Pikes Peaks have joined the Rocky Mountain Rugby Women's Division 2. Our primary goal for the inaugural season is to enhance our skills and performance while maintaining our core values of inclusion, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game.

Our home is at Flanagan Park – a field customized for rugby, which is located at 3132 N Prospect St, Colorado Springs, CO.

A group of rugby players wearing green jerseys and black shorts, some with muddy knees, pose for a photo on a snowy rugby field under a cloudy sky. The players are smiling, and some have their arms around each other. Behind them, there are trees, buildings, and parked cars.
